هدفت هذه الدّراسة إلى الكشف عن التحدّيات التي يواجهها الطلبة الدراسون للعربية من غير الناطقين بها في جامعة جنجي الوطنية، من وجهة نظر الدارسين أنفسهم، وقد تمّ بناء استبانة محكّمة تتكوّن من (39) فقرة موزّعة على (5) مجالات لتحديد التحديات التي يواجهها الطلبة في أثناء تعلّمهم للعربيّة في الجامعة، وطبّقت على عينة من طلبة قسم اللغة العربية في الجامعة من مختلف السنوات الدراسية عددها (134) طالبًا وطالبة ممن تيسّر إجراء الدراسة عليهم. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أنّ أكثر التحديات جاءت في مجال اللغة الهدف، ثم في مجال البيئة التعليمية، والمقررات الدراسية، ومجال الدارسين، وأقل المجالات تحديًا للطلبة هو مجال المعلمين.
