La violence conjugale à l’égard des femmes aujourd'hui reconnue comme un véritable fléau social, a des impacts non négligeables sur toute la famille, que ce soit la victime ou les proches qui en sont témoins, bien souvent les enfants. A travers cette article nous dressons un diagnostic du phénomène, car cette violence ne se limite pas aux agressions physiques, il y a aussi les violences psychologiques, les menaces et les intimidations, les violences économiques ainsi que les violences sexuelles. Par ailleurs, ces différentes formes de violence peuvent apparaitre graduellement et s'intensifier dans le temps, formant un cycle vicieux que peu de victimes distinguent.
