Abstract

Domestic violence against women today is recognized as a real social scourge that has significant impacts on all families whether it is the victim or the witnesses, often the children. Through this article we make a diagnosis of the phenomenon, because this violence is not limited to physical assaults, there are also psychological violence, threats and intimidation, economic violence as well as sexual violence. In addition, these different forms of violence can appear gradually and intensify over time, forming a vicious cycle that few victims distinguish.
