الأهداف: التعرف إلى اتجاهات الأكاديميين العاملين في كليات وأقسام الإعلام في الجامعات الأردنية نحو مفهوم التضليل وأهدافه، وأساليبه والوسائل الأكثر استخداما في هذا المجال.
المنهجية: تنتمي الدراسة إلى الدراسات الوصفية، واستخدمت منهج المسح، والاستبانة أداة لجمع المعلومات، والعينة المتاحة التي بلغ عددها 65 مفردة.
النتائج: أشارت المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية لفقرات المحور الأول "ما المقصود بالتضليل"، إلى أن فقرة "نشر معلومات وصور ورسوم مفبركة" قد سجلت أعلى مؤشر. وفي محور أهداف التضليل أظهرت النتائج أن فقرة "تحطيم الروح المعنوية للجهة المستهدفة" جاءت في المرتبة الأولى وسجلت أعلى مؤشر. أما الوسائل الأكثر استخداما في التضليل فبينت النتائج أن "شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي" قد احتلت المرتبة الأولى، وجاءت "فيسبوك Facebook" بالمرتبة الأولى من بين الشبكات الاجتماعية الأكثر استخداما في مجال التضليل ".
الخلاصة: ضرورة إنشاء مواقع إلكترونية لرصد المعلومات المضللة والتعريف بها، وإنشاء مظلة إعلامية تنشر الوعي بأهمية الالتزام بالمبادئ الأخلاقية عند نشر أو مشاركة المعلومات.
