Abstract

This study is aimed to investigate the impact of the proposition of nonexistence and its manifestations in the syntactic intellect by considering the syntactic structures attributed to nonexistence, examining the most important related linguistic issues in the linguistic studies of the ancient and modern linguists, analyzing its impact on the codification of structural types in the Arabic language, and its impact on the syntactic structures in terms of perception, performance and communication. The study includes an introduction, a preface and three major topics. The first topic studies nonexistence and syntactic components; the second one tackles the nonexistence and perceptive, interpretive components in the syntactic intellect; and due to the importance of nonexistence in linguistic communication and specifying its standards of, it has been ultimately necessary that the third topic analyzes the impact of nonexistence on the components of linguistic communication. These issues have been investigated by means of a descriptive, analytical method in the light of the essential role that the proposition of nonexistence plays in the syntactic intellect. The study ends with a conclusion confirming the most important findings.
