Social Protection and Development Action in Morocco: A Study of Women's Position in Public Policies

Objectives: The study aimed at the inventory of women's social protection programmes in post-independence Morocco; These papers are based on a central problem and study questions; It also contains an analysis of basic concepts such as social protection, development and public policies; Which are connected to each other analysis of different views and interpretations from multiple economic, social and political perspectives.
Methods: A descriptive approach to the realities of women's social protection in Morocco has been drawn upon through literature on the subject, both in the historical context of social protection and in the current context.
Results: The study concluded that Morocco's social protection experience in general, and women in particular, is still a new experience at its earliest, which has been accompanied by many problems both in terms of perception and application. as well as structural problems such as urban-village disparities, funding and targeting problems.
Conclusions: Summarized in a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: the development of institutional structures active in social protection and the rehabilitation of their material and human resources. improving the Social Protection Act; Supporting women's social and economic spheres throughout their lives; Women's participation in decision-making (political, social and economic).
