Degree of Educational Satisfaction with Educational Services Presented to Secondary Students in North Aghouar Educational Directorate

Abstract

The study aims to identify the degree of satisfaction with educational services that are offered to secondary students in North Aghwar educational directorate, and to reveal the differences in this degree of satisfaction according to the variables of student gender, academic stream, and academic achievement.

The descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was designed for this purpose, containing (48) items divided into (4) domains, which was applied to a random sample of (416) male and female students of the second-year secondary (scientific and literary). The questionnaire data was analyzed to obtain the results using the statistical package (SPSS).

The results showed that the degree of satisfaction was moderate in all domains. The findings also showed that there were no statistical differences at the significance level (0.05) in the responses of the study sample about the degree of their satisfaction with the educational services provided to them due to gender, academic stream, and academic achievement.

The study concludes that it is necessary to pay attention to the provision of educational services for students, and to provide everything that would increase the level of their satisfaction, and increase the technical equipment in libraries; to enable students to search for knowledge, the school administration’s cooperation with the concerned authorities, such as hospitals or the Ministry of Social Development, the dissemination of a culture of volunteer work among students, the computerization of school libraries, and attention to library and computer services.
